A creamy, tangy spread loaded with dill pickles and fresh herbs. Perfect for crackers, sandwiches, or burgers.

Ingredients

  • 16 OZ cream cheese softened
  • 3/4 CUP dill pickles chopped and drained
  • 3 TBSP pickle juice from the jar
  • 3-4 TBSP fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic minced
  • 1/4 TSP black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 CUP sour cream or Greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 CUP Mayonnaise

Method

  1. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  2. Fold in the chopped dill pickles, pickle juice, fresh dill, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly combined.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more pickle juice or pepper if desired.
  4. Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

Drain the pickles very well to prevent the spread from becoming watery.
This spread is excellent on crackers, bagels, burgers, or as a sandwich spread.
For extra tang, add a splash more pickle juice just before serving.
