Ingredients
  

  • 400 grams uncooked Basmati Rice
  • 600 ml cold water
  • 4 green cardamom pods
  • 1 star anise
  • su0026p to taste

Instructions
 

  • Thoroughly rinse that rice 3 times in ice cold water
  • Put rice in pot
  • Add cold water (1.5 water:rice ratio)
  • Pierce the cardamom pods with a fork.
  • Add cardamom and star anise tot he pot
  • Add your Su0026P
  • Cover on, bring to a rapid boil and reduce temp to a simmer.
  • Simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Off goes the lid, remove the anise and cardamom
  • Fluff the rice with a fork
