400 grams uncooked Basmati Rice
600 ml cold water
4 green cardamom pods
1 star anise
su0026p to taste
Instructions
Thoroughly rinse that rice 3 times in ice cold water
Put rice in pot
Add cold water (1.5 water:rice ratio)
Pierce the cardamom pods with a fork.
Add cardamom and star anise tot he pot
Add your Su0026P
Cover on, bring to a rapid boil and reduce temp to a simmer.
Simmer for 10 minutes.
Off goes the lid, remove the anise and cardamom
Fluff the rice with a fork
