
Tandoori Chicken
Ingredients
- 8-10 Skinless, bone-in, Chicken Thigh or Legs
- 3 Tablespoons of Tandoori Masala
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Plain Yoghurt
- 4 Cloves of Garlic, minced
- 2 Tablespoons Ginger, minced
- 2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil in a small pan and add the spices and salt
- Warm in a pot until fragrant. Set aside to cool completely
- In a large bowl, mix the Garlic, Ginger, Yoghurt and Lemon Juice
- Add oil/spice blend to the yoghurt mix
- Cut 3 slits in the meat, to the bone.
- Thoroughly massage marinade into the meat.
- Set chicken aside for 6 – 8 hours
- Grill chicken over indirect heat until internal temp is 165
- Rest the chicken for 5 minutes and serve over Saffron Rice
