Pizza Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 2 TBSP Olive Oil
  • 3 Medium Cloves of Garlic, minced
  • 2 TBSP Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 TSP Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1 28-ounce can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 TSP Granulated Garlic
  • 1 TSP Granulated Onion
  • 1 TBSP Sugar
  • 1 TSP MSG

Instructions
 

  • Heat 2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Add minced garlic, oregano, and pepper flakes and cook, stirring, until fragrant, about 30 seconds
  • Add tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar.
  • Bring to a simmer and cook until reduced to about 3 cups, about 30 minutes. 
  • Add salt to taste

Notes

  • We use this on our Detroit Style Pizza and as a marinara sauce for pasta!
