
Easy Caramel Sauce
Super easy and tastes great on everything like Ice Cream, Pastries, or just a spoon!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar, packed (White or Raw sugar is fine)
- 6 TBSP Butter, unsalted is preferred but I use regular
- 1/2 TSP Salt
- 1/2 cup Whipping Cream (room temp)
- 1 TBSP Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- In a saucepot over low-medium Low temp, melt the sugar. Stirring often and dont get distracted.
- Once it all melts and start to change colour to a light butterscotch remove from the heat, add your warm butter and which like mad.
- Now add the cream and continue to whisk
- Add vanilla and salt, youre done!
