
Bacon Wrapped Chicken WIngs
Ingredients
- 12 chicken wings, split
- 1 tablespoon Some olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of your favourite chicken rub
- 6 slices of bacon (1/2 slice per wing)
Instructions
- Put wings in a large mixing bowl
- add oil, toss wings to coat
- add a moderate amount of rub
- wrap each wing in half a strip of bacon
- Place wings on a wire rack
- Smoke over apple/hickory at 225 for one hour
- Increase temp to 300 for another 45 minutes – an hour, till bacon is irresistible
