
Alfredo Sauce
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoon Butter
- 1 1/4 cup heavy/whipping cream
- 3/4 half u0026 half cream
- 1/3 cup grated Romano cheese
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 dash salt and pepper to taste
- 2 egg yolk (egg)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a pan over med-low
- Add the creams, whisk constantly over med, (warm it up but do not boil)
- Add the cheeses and seasonings, continue to whisk
- Once the cheeses have melted, add the egg yolks
- Gently simmer over low for 3 – 5 minutes.
